Experience:
Cheryl joined the Audit Practice at ACM in 2007. Cheryl began her accounting career at Moss Adams LLP and 10 years at a local CPA firm in Washington. Over the course of her public accounting career she has been responsible for all phases of audit and tax services for a variety of privately-owned companies, and primarily focuses her time on assurance services for manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Cheryl’s well rounded background gives her a unique ability to identify and help provide solutions to complex business and accounting issues, including complex revenue recognition, business acquisitions, and inventory valuation. Cheryl is also familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and works with a number of privately-held U.S. subsidiaries of foreign corporations and their unique reporting requirements. Cheryl heads up ACM’s Form 5500 tax practice for employee benefit plans and has significant experience working with both private and public companies on initial audit requirements and operational issues and the unique challenges that can present.
