David Taylor currently participates in all phases of client service in the tax department to ensure the efficient handling of his clients' personal and commercial tax needs. Dave's background includes over thirty years' experience in tax and business advisory services. During his career, he has helped clients with business and tax matters in areas such as manufacturing, distribution, professional and financial services and nonprofit entities.
He has studied and reviewed Accounting Principles Board (APB) Opinion No. 11 (Accounting for Income Taxes), Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) No. 5 (Accounting for Contingencies), SFAS No. 109 (Accounting for Income Taxes) and Financial Accounting Standards Board Interpretation ASC 740 (Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes). Through his continuing professional development activities and his public accounting and private company work experiences David has developed the skills and experience in the implementation and documentation of the income tax positions and related estimates as required by the provisions of ASC 740.
