Experience: Tyra has more than sixteen years of experience, specializing in governmental and nonprofit organizations, and focusing on financial and A-133 audits of governmental entities of various sizes and complexities. Prior to joining ACM in January 2012, Tyra spent five years with Clifton Gunderson LLP. Tyra’s clients have included state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, and special districts. Prior to working in public accounting, she spent five years at the Colorado Office of the State Auditor and three years as a senior internal auditor at a mortgage company.
Tyra is a member of the CGFOA and presented at the 2013 and 2014 CGFOA conferences.
Tyra enjoys spending time with her son, Maxwell, and husband, David. When not spending time with her family and friends, she fills her time reading, watching movies, and playing the piano.
